Picking up your hive is a simple process.
First, we will have you come inside our store building to sign paperwork, (Elgin location will have a managing beekeeper assisting with signing the paperwork before loading) and then you can drive up to our loading area whenever you are ready. Suiting up before going to the loading area is highly recommended.
The hives are contained with plastic mesh stapled in the entrance that you will remove once you set them at their final destination. If you are transporting them in a car or suv, we recommend bringing a sheet to place over the hives or nucs to contain any straggler bees riding on the outside of the hive box.
If you are transporting them in a truck, we highly recommend you bring straps.
Our staff is more than happy to help load your bees for you, but it will be each customer's responsibility to strap down and secure their own hives.

Queen Bees are normally available between 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Nucs & Single Story Hives are normally available between 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Package Bees are normally available between 12:00 - 6:00 PM
