There was an error in packaging from the breeder resulting in all of her workers left outside the cage. She was all alone inside the cage but still alive. I was given the option for another queen at a later time. I took her anyway and after a quick feeding from the staff, she was ready to go. She was introduced into the emergency split the next day and she did very well. After a week, I checked to find that she was freed and accepted by the hive. She soon began laying and creating a good brood pattern. Great queen and the staff was wonderful in tending to her despite her having no workers to feed her. As always, a great experience and friendly service!!!

Having moved to Texas over 6 years ago I have tried several different queen breeders to reestablish my apiary. Some can't handle the Texas environment and others are just too aggressive for my desires. These Italian TX5000 queens are just perfect for my Central Texas hives. They are tough and can handle the weather extremes and I very seldom need to use a smoker when working in the hives. A better queen would be hard to find in my humble opinion.

I'm new and they were awesome.

My new queen is settling in nicely. The girls released her within a few days, and I expect to see a good laying pattern soon.

Went to the Dayton Tx location for the first time. Very knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Learned quite a lot in the short time I was there. I picked up an Italian hybrid queen and a variety of supplies. The queen is marked and she and all attendants were very healthy.

Picked up two queens on 8/11 at the Blue Ridge store and introduced them into the hives that afternoon. Four days later both had been accepted by their hive and they were very active.

egg laying is pretty bad, hardly any consistency in being a full pattern

We bought queens online - for Round Rock, the only dates for pickup listed are Fridays (and this is still true as of today). When my husband arrived to pick up the queens, he was told the queens are shipped to the store arriving on Wednesday. Of the four queens he was initially handed by the store employee, one was already dead and needed to be swapped out. The other queens had some dead attendants in the cages. We gave them a drop of water each when we got them home and they survived long enough to be installed into the hives yesterday - we will have to see if they make it long enough to get released. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the website to correct the pickup dates. My husband had called on Thursday and spoke with a store employee who also didn't mention the queens had been delivered Wednesday. It would be much better for the queens and the customers if this was posted clearly on the website with the correct pickup dates.

Queen is doing fine. It is great to have a local place to get queens. The staff is friendly and very eager to help.

Another great experience from the Texas Bee supply in Dayton. The queen i has already started doing her job. Thanks again.

My queen was ready for pickup a day earlier than expected. I had a lot of questions about beekeeping before I got to the store and every question was answered by their staff. I talked to three different staff members and all three were friendly and very helpful. I've tried a lot of different honey but discovered one at their store that is now my new favorite.

Requeened this Africanized colony. Split into 3 hives .
First time being able to pick up queens locally making this affordable bee keeping.

She flew off after they ate the sugar plug. I checked 4 days after install, shHe couldn't get out with all the crowd of bees in with her, so I eased off wire and she flew off...never came back to that hive... so she probably entered a nearby hive and was killed.

Purchased the single, 10 frame hive, that was stuffed with bees. Very happy customer.

Great Bee. Got 3 of them and all are working like little champs... 1 was put in a large colony without a queen and she took over immediately. The other two are in splits I made. They are laying and it looks good. Would not hesitate to buy from The Bee Supply again.

We showed up a day early (guess I had the days mixed up), but the queen was ready, so we were able to avoid making two trips. As always, the staff was very helpful and competent, answering all our questions. We placed the queen in the hive as directed, and after a week, checked to see that she had been accepted by the colony. She was busy doing her job and looked great!

All four queens were accepted and are now laying well.

Bought one nuk and a 10 frame deep and 2 queens. Very happy with the filled frames on both and queens were accepted within 2 days.

I purchased 3 Italian Carniolan queens to re-Queen three hives. 11 days later they are going strong with lots of brood and larva!!

Everything worked out as i expected. I was able to purchase the queens and set a pickup date. All was ready when i arrived. Queens have been in the hives for about a week and i will do an inspection in the next day or two to assess the status. I know that most if not all are walking around in the hives.

Great Queens, came with good help. The staff there are fantastic and know about their equipment and about bees. I hope they expand to Spring

Not my first time buying from Texas Bee Supply. I've been buying from them since 2020. This year I was trying to avoid driving 2 hours (each direction) to pick up the queens and unfortunately found a local scammer that was happy to help me part with my time (driving 1 hour to pick up the ladies) and money. Lesson learned.
The queens that I've bought from Texas Bee Supply were worth the drive and the people that work in the store (Blue Ridge, though I've never been to the other stores so I don't assume that they aren't just as kind) are wonderful and always helpful.
Coat of queens was on par with what the current pricing for queens is, not less than, not more than. All queens were marked. This was not offered as an option, it was just done by them. I appreciated it.
Anyway, the queens are settling in nicely and I've already noticed that they are much more pleasant to be around.

“Re-queening” a swarm. Bees from TBS are healthy, I’ve never had a mite problem with any of their nucs or package bees. Plus, they establish quickly with prolific queens.

Great people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought 3 queens to requeen 3 very aggressive hives. Bees have released all three queens. It's only been two weeks, but I have seen a slight change for the better. In about three more weeks I'll know more.
The Bee Supply facility is great. I will definitely visiting them more often.

Got 4 queens. 2 lived. The ones that lived are going gangbusters. The place is great - always very helpful and friendly.

Pickup is easy and staff will answer any questions you have. My third year to come back to their business.

This is a great company to do business with whether you are an experienced bee keeper or someone who is just starting out. The staff at the Dayton store were knowledgeable and friendly and prices were reasonable. The queens that I purchased from them were all healthy and active, they are all in their new hives and should be laying soon. I will definitely purchase queens from them again.

Pick up of the queens was easy. I was able to look at the inventory and select the ones I wanted. The tips on handling and caring for queens was helpful. The way my colonies are growing, I will be back for more later in the spring!
