I use a funnel to avoid spilling sugar water inside my long Langstroth hive. I mix lemongrass and peppermint essential oil emulsified with lecithin in my homemade bee nectar.

i have been using the regular kind black plastic and i even made a mesh screen as a ladder ,but i still continue to get drowning bees , but not with the ones i purchase from you ,they are much better , no dead bees , great idea... thanks

These feeders are so much more convenient to stop robbing from other hives, than the entrance feeder! I can see that they will also work well in the winter because they will not freeze like the ones in the entrance! Therefore being able to feed the bees continually all year if needed. The bees love them, so I love them! Another quality product by Texas Bee supply!

These are very well made an the cone shaped ladders are real bee savers. They do take up 2 deep frame space which works for me with my 2 deep brood boxes. I put a cork in one access that let's me see real easy wen my feeder is full ..the 1 gal size suits me as I like to check my hives bout 12-14 days apart..depending on time of year in midwest.
