Bees love it I like them too . The bees save a lot of time and I save time by not having to clean propolis from older frames. The heavy wax on them seems to be just right.When I wax the old frames I tend to get too much on them and I have noticed it took bees a little longer to start drawing comb. These are great quality. If I get my rotation of the frames right I will always have quality frames already drawn when the bees need them.

Double-dipped frames were not available at the time of the order, so single-dipped frames were substituted. Still, good frames, well built, with the broadened black foundation. Glad to have them, and will order again, when needed.

I have only had them in my hive a week. When I inspected, I had hoped to see comb being built out be was not holding my breath. We have had rain, sometimes sever rain almost every day since I installed them. But I was delighted to see they were already at work on them. It's way too soon to see if black foundations make it easier to spot eggs. So need more time for a better report.
