Telescoping Covers are the roof of your hive. Like your own house, you want one that will withstand the harshest conditions. The top is covered with heavy-duty aluminum which telescopes down over the top of the hive to keep out the elements.

Works and fits perfectly on my 8 frame lang. Wish that the protective cover wasn’t so difficult to remove, though!

Hi Karen! Do you have a standard inner cover between your telescoping cover and your top box? This will help prevent the telescoping cover from sticking so badly.

These are well made and fit my 8 frames boxes and inner covers great.

I’ve bought these before and the ones that are on hives from before work great.

I’m a DIYer, but these are equipment that you’re better off buying than trying to make.

I painted the outer wood surfaces with several coats of white exterior latex to help preserve the wood. I left the insides natural.
