Formic Pro™ is the next generation of formic acid varroa treatments, designed to combat varroosis caused by Varroa destructor in honey bee colonies. With a 24‑month shelf life and no storage temperature requirements, Formic Pro™ offers greater convenience than Mite Away Quick Strips—while still requiring daytime temperatures between 50°F–84°F (10°C–29°C) during application.
Strips are placed directly across the top of the brood frames and are safe to use during honey flow. No spacer rim is needed, though proper acid‑handling safety gear is still required.
Choose from two treatment options:
