We’ve improved this classic feeder for easier installation and longer life. This feeder allows you to use your own Mason type jar or 5 lb. (2.27 kg) round jar for feeding at the entrance of your hive.
This feeder is not recommended for cold weather feeding or flow hives.

The holes in the metal lid leak too quickly. For me, the plastic lid is better due to smaller holes.

Hi Buck, thank you for the feedback. We appreciate what you have to say about this product. Although the metal lids are a good lower budget option, we agree the No Rust lids are a better quality product even though they are a higher in price.
