The extremely gentle Golden Cordovans™ come from the Golden Cordovan™ Italian family. They come in a range of shades, from near-white to a reddish hue, with hues darkening over time. A standout for their gentleness, these honey makers are also bred to be VSH (Varroa Sensitive Hygiene) resistant. We’ve slightly adjusted our breeding program for 2025 to include more TX5000 genetics to make them hardier than in the past.
